For all text that doesn't have a white background we make use of stroke without any exceptions.
Let's take a look at our example.
Step 1 --> Copy the text from the .doc file and place it on the scan.
Step 2 --> Go to Layer --> Layer Style --> Stroke.
Step 3 --> Change over to these standard settings.

In many scans you see situations where the text has been placed on a black background. In most cases the typesetter
used white text. Depending on what *type of text it is, there are 2 ways to edit this.
* Note: with this I mean: are those thoughts or past conversation.
If the text is normal or excited then we keep to the original and use white color too.
If the text are thoughts of a character then there are 2 ways to edit this. Let's take a look at an original scan first.
You can choose to make the text grey and use white stroke like the example below.
Or you can keep yourself to the original and make it white as well.
