Step 1 --> First of all you need to program. You can download ProJpeg 5.2 here. Step 2 --> Extract the zip somewhere on your computer. Step 3 --> Double click on the icon of ProJPEG52.  Step 4 --> A new window will appear in front of you. Click on Setup.  The program will now ask you to select the root folder for the plugin installation.  Step 5 --> Save the plugin in: C:/Adobe/Photoshop 7.0/Plug-Ins/File Formats  Step 6 --> Click on 'OK.' Once you clicked on 'OK,' you get to see the same window again. Then click again on 'OK.' Step 7 --> You should now receive a window saying that the installation is complete.  When the installation is complete, the program automatically opens the readme file for you. It's not important for you to read it, so ignore it by closing it. Step 8 --> Double click on your Photoshop shortcut.  Step 9 --> Open just a random scan you've been working on. * Note = Do make sure the page doesn't have any layers on top of it. If it does make sure you flatten the image first. Step 10 --> Go to File --> Save As.  Step 11 --> Click on the drop down menu of Format and select BoxTopProJPEG 5.0  You should get to see this.  Step 12 --> Click on that window. Step 13 --> Again a new window will appear on your screen. Take over these standard settings and then hit on 'OK'. *Note: You can also use '94' instead of '96' (Quality).  Now it's time to register the program. Step 14 --> When you clicked on 'OK' a new window pops up and asks you to register the program. Click on 'Register'.  Step 15 --> Type your name, company (of your choice) and the registration number. When you're done click on 'OK.'  * Note = The registration number can be found in the .txt file of the zip file you've just downloaded. That's all there is to it. |
