The Manga Zipped Images |
Welcome to the new home of the New Ranma Project! The Return... kinda Update! I now have some links to the manga! Volumes 1-16 can be found here More volumes, up to 28 last I heard, can be found here Please don't e-mail me about those pages, they're not under my control :) Although if you notice the links broken, wouldn't mind hearing about it. They're also in Russian, but it's fairly easy to figure out how to navigate them. Good luck! And remember, there's always ShareReactor. I have now successfully moved and gotten an internet connection back, however it is much slower than my old one was. At the current rate, I don't believe I'll ever be serving the Manga again. I did want to get at least the front page back for informational and historical purposes. I have also had some computer trouble on my Windoze box and lost a good portion of the e-mail I had, so if you'd sent me links or offered hosting in the last couple or three months please e-mail again. Do understand the commitment, however. I did 15-20 gigs of traffic a month with the complete managa set, and that was even with the limitations I'd placed. Without limit, and a fat enough pipe to shove it through, it could well have been higher. I also recently discovered an excellent download tool called BitTorrent. I might try some experimentation with that. If anyone famliar with it wants to offer to seed the manga, I'd be very happy to try to work something out. Even though BitTorrent takes much of the load off the central server, I don't believe I'd have a useful upstream to get it started. Anyway, thanks for the fond times. If anyone has any good links to current sources, I'll put them up. Please don't e-mail me asking for the manga, I don't have any good way to distribute it and any information I'll have about it will go here. Thanks! I'm currently in the process of moving these over to a new "server". The old Quadra was getting a bit flaky thanks to some kernel dev still in progress, so I wanted to get it onto a more stable machine. I happened to have a spare Fujitsu Stylistic 2300 already running Debian Linux and it occured to me that it would make a perfect upgrade. It's small, light, fast enough, and has a built-in "UPS" as a tablet PC with a functional battery. This should help the server uptime tremendously as every little power blip won't kill it. Also, as neat as running Linux on something obscure like an m68k box was, this being a fairly standard PC will help with stability I think. Ah well, at least it'll work :) Anyway, enjoy!
