I can see it. Don't know if this is suppose to be correct, but sometimes instead of seeing ' I see the yen symbol....

Well, the forum is set to UTF-8, which means the Japanese characters should be visibile in the forum.

I can see your hiragana. However, if you copy-paste a random kanji from a site that uses utf-8 too ( http://www.mahou.org/Kanji/3026/ ), it is converted to an escape sequence.

Ah.
I shall check what is wrong here 
Possible caused by magic_quotes.
There is chance that i must write filter to convert escape strings in visible characters.
(i have changed utf-8 in html char-set, but that is not enough, i see.)

(new script code now this time)
EDIT: Looks it works now without problems.
The problems is wrong conversion with htmlspecialchars(). It cannot convert correctly, even with 'utf-8' table. (tested it many times)
Found the good convert solution on php.net site, and it's pretty universal php code for all languages, thus Chinese, Korean, Russian, Japanese, they may not have problems here now.

Edit: I can't use Japanese on this forum. I can read it fine, but even copy and pasting someone else's Japanese comes out wrong. I'm on a Mac, which uses Unicode natively.
