Some instructions for uploading images:
- You may clean the pages if you want. It's only important that translators can read the text.
- Every image has max 600kb size. You can use PNG for good quality.
- It's recommended to make image not too big. I set my pages to 1500 pixels height, but smaller height is ok. Keep the Japanese/Chinese/Korean texts readable.
- Use PNG optimizers for example ADVPNG to keep filesize low.
If you upload the pages by yourself, you may edit the pages for yourself and publish them.
With image upload, you can add groups and chapters to keep it organized.
You may not delete other works, pages and groups. If you're doing it, you're lost all rights and blacklisted. If you're in the blacklist, you can almost never ask again for permissions.
Which titles can you use?
Please use the titles which are not licensed. And please don't use titles which are for adults. If you want do it, you must ask first for permission.
Short stories and very short 4-panel mangas (picked from 2chan or 4chan) are possible. Please don't make too much groups.
Have respect for translators. Give them some time to make translation completed.
There are two permissions for uploading images:
- uploader status: you can only upload, but cannot place balloons, thus pages translation is not possible.
- scanlator status: you can upload and translate the pages. It's better that you can translate something. If you're still rookie, please use uploader status.
Don't forget to post new topic about your project in Projects subforum. Ask also who do the editwork, or do you edit the pages by yourself?
