My name's Tanuki, or Buzze on IRC since someone else already registered Tanuki. I'm from Flanders, Belgium (for those who do not know: Flanders being the northern, dutch-speaking part, which has nothing to do with a certain yellow, gung-ho religious cartoon character.) Antwerp is my homestead.

About the site: I found it through the scanlations of BnFnT, thanks for taking it up from ADTRW, by the way!

The translation system: I still have to check on that.

I'm from Italy. I arrived to DummyScan from Manganews, then the ADTRW forum looking for BnFnT updates.

I think many people register simply because that way you can get a soft-translated preview of the new chapters - which is of unestimable value for those like me who are learning japanese.

I am Amaru from Stockholm (Sweden), 24 years old frenchy active in the swedich anime/manga community, organizing art meetings and cosplay workshops, working as illustrator, comic artist and freelance designer. :3
I got here from ADTRW where I've been reading Boku no Futatsu no Tsubasa some months.
The quick translation system is definitely something interesting. I've been using similar methods on smaller scales when working with newspaper planning and some design jobs where it was difficult to gather all the working power in one physical place. If the team builds up correctly and gathers most needed skills this should work really nicely. =^.~=

Well, i'm also from the Netherlands and while i do know mrdummy for some years now and know another forum by him, i stumbled onto this forum by accident when i was looking in /r @ 4chan.

Well, i'm not really into gender bender series, but the subjest is fascinnating and interesting to say the least.
My interest lies more in meganekko(girls/women with glasses), so i hope there'll some nice doujin about that too here. ;)

Anyway, i'm a 28 year old physics phd who like many things, including anime and manga and other stuff japanese.

Oh yeah, i say hi to you, mrdummy.

I'm from Scotland, a long-time anime and manga fan since the mid-80s. I'm the founder and for a long time the only member of the Nojay scanlation group that's been carrying on work on Tsukasa Hojo's series "Family Compo". I think I found this site seaching for other sites with FC stuff on them.

As for the group editing facility, it looks like a good idea as a workgroup tool for multiple translators to maintain a coherent version of their pre-release work but I'm not sure that opening it up to Joe Public is necessarily a good idea even in read-only mode. Keeping tight control of write privileges is essential as MrDummy has done from day one.

Thanks for the interest!

Uh... I didn't see this thread.
I'm Spanish, 29, pharmacist and found you via google by pure casuality, looking for a BnFnT alternate scanlation group since ADTRW seemed to have stalled the process.

I mantain a tiny anime-related web and translate to Spanish the fabulous Ai-Ren manga.

I found DS searching for BnFnT on Google, i was hoping someone would continue the project after ADTR left it.
I tried to post before but my PC have been EVIL with me and I couldn't post.
I first found BnFnT 2 months ago by accident, and I loved it, can't wait for the next chapter

Hi, I'm WhiteKnightZ (long tim rpg/rts player on pc, and since a year a wow/guildwars player too :wink.

I'm From Antwerp, Flanders, Belgium and working in the IT.

I found this site, by searching for Boku no Futatsu, and began to read this genre by reading Futaba-kun Change on the Abunai con in Enschede, Holland, last year .
Then I got by google to Farhad's page, searching for Futaba-kun change. He has an impressive list of same genre manga. Then I got to BnFt, and searched and was pleased to find this site. I'd like to go to Animecon to, but unfortunately didn't get there this year

Anyways, I like this site very much, and hope to see many translations

I first read Boku no Futatsu no Tsubasa on anime source at that time they only had 17 chapters and I really like the story and waited for more to come. It was a long wait. And then I found Dummy.net and I was able to read more of this great story. But still I waited for more releases and they did not come till I ran into this site manga translation. Since then I have read chapters 23 through 27 and some of 28 that had been translated. I am from Thousand Oaks, California. I found this site by read the post

Hi-llo!
Wow, it's kinda... empty around here. Oh well, anyways, whether I get a response or not, I'lll introduce anyways.
It's nice to see a group of this interest, and such a great story it is.
The name's djet otherwise ET in my area,
I come from not-so-sunny-at-the-moment California,
And I found this by... uh, I think by chance really. I think I was checking through my old emails and I got something from manga scan. Then the rest should be obvious, where I revisit the site and went through the many new manga they had up.

I'd like to thank you for taking up this project and show some support in anyway possible. I'm not too good at editing, know no Japanese, but would love to see this whole place somehow ALIVE! I'll lurk around and see if there's any life around in the mean time!

OOOIIYY! I think my Siggy's big.

Anyways... Howzez life for ya?
Heh Heh.
